About the Club
Founded in 1971, our club has evolved from simply being a place to enjoy a game of dominoes to becoming a cornerstone of community service and engagement.
We’re passionate about bringing people together to learn and play the game of dominoes. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, our club offers a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy the game.
What we do
Community Engagement:
We have moved beyond just playing dominoes to organizing and participating in community work. Our initiatives are designed to bring people together and support those in need.
Children’s Fun Days:
Annually, we host fun days for children, offering a full day of activities from morning to evening. In the evening, parents can join the festivities from 7 PM till 2 AM, creating a full day of family fun and community bonding.
Health Initiatives:
In collaboration with the NHS, we conduct health checks, including diabetes, heart, and blood pressure screenings. Our goal is to promote health and wellness within the community.
Financial Advice:
Through our partnership with Debt Today Free Tomorrow, we provide free advice to help individuals manage their finances effectively.
Support for the Elderly:
We are dedicated to supporting our elderly community members (OAP), ensuring they have access to the resources and assistance they need.
Events and Tournaments
Our club hosts regular domino events and tournaments where members can showcase their skills and compete in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Learning Opportunities
For those new to the game, we offer learning sessions and workshops to help beginners grasp the fundamentals and enhance their domino playing abilities.
Social Gatherings
